The body, which may be related to a missing Hartford boater, was found early Wednesday, June 19, and set off instant speculation if it was related to the search for the New Canaan missing mother of five who has not been seen since Friday, May 24.

New Canaan Police Lt. Jason Ferraro said that as of early Wednesday, the department had received over 800 tips related to the investigation of Jennifer Farber Dulos. Video requests are over 80 submissions from surveillance cameras, he added.

Jennifer Dulos, 50, was last seen dropping off her children at school and was reported missing later that same day after failing to show up for numerous meetings by friends.

Her vehicle, a 2017 black Chevrolet Suburban was found abandoned near Waveny Park, the same day, sparking a massive search of the area without any results, New Canaan Police said.

Since that time, her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos and his girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, have been arrested in connection with the case. Both were charged with charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and hindering prosecution after being caught on surveillance video dropping off a garbage bags in Hartford with items that contained the blood of Jennifer Dulos, court documents said.

New Canaan Police, along with the Connecticut State Police, have worked tirelessly to find the missing mother with as many as 25 to 30 investigators from the state, local and federal law enforcement agencies working the case on a daily basis.

"We urge everyone with information regarding Jennifer’s disappearance to contact us," Ferraro said.
